Crane-way Curtain Dividers are
manufactured from various
materials. The curtain depicted to
the left was manufactured from
18 oz reinforced pvc - fire rated
and clear 16 gauge pvc for the
horizontal vision window. The
application depicts a steel shop
in which the fabricating area has
been divided from the new
painting department. The curtain
was designed to provide for a
complete seal and maintain all
paint fumes and pollutants from
escaping into the rest of the
warehouse.
The top portion of the warehouse
divider was designed to flap
when the overhead crane passes

When a Crane needs to pass through an
opening from an inside environment to an
outside area....Heavy duty strip flaps are
common. The installation to the left exhibits
48" W X .120 Clear pvc flaps which drape
over the crane as it passes through. The
heavier materials prevent strong winds from
blowing the material. PVC Strips or sheets
are also available in opaque . The clear
strips allow light to filter into the warehouse....
